Interested in becoming an officer?
Becoming an officer for the ASCE CSUS Student Chapter is a rewarding experience. Officers in our club help organize and facilitate general meetings and other events throughout the school year. In return you will gain valuable skills that will help you transition into your professional career. Others perks include priority registration for events, plenty of networking opportunities, meeting potential employers, and more!
How to become an officer
ATTEND A GENERAL MEETING
We have meetings on the first Thursday of every month.
LET US KNOW YOU ARE INTERESTED!
Come say hi to us at our next meeting or send us an email us here
ascesacramentostate@gmail.comCONSIDER BECOMING A SHADOW OFFICER!
This allows you an opportunity to get the behind the scenes look on how we prepare for meetings and other events, as well as a chance to sit in for one of our officer meetings to get a feel for what officer role interests you the most.
GET NOMINATED (YOU CAN NOMINATE YOURSELF)
After you are nominated, let other members know why you are the right person for the role!
ELECTIONS
Elections and the nomination period will be announced at one of our general meetings and on our socials.
